My Story

Tranquil Liaison was initially created by myself during the unfortunate COVID pandemic.   The name depicting “peaceful communicator”.  The opportunity to create something that addresses challenging times together was introduced, and successfully achieved by creating beautiful & soothing products to offer “you”.

Background:  Being the youngest of 11, and being blessed with an inherited interest in psychology revealed a passion that resulted in my career as a family support worker for almost a decade.  As a result, this raised a desire to highlight to individuals an awareness of how valuable we are to ourselves.   My handmade products can hopefully propose a way for you to put these words into practice. (*please note that I do not claim to be a qualified psychologist or clinical practitioner).

Most of us fall into an ambush of toxic external commitments or influences as we exhaust ourselves involuntarily.  The result?  “Burn-out”! (no pun intended).  Who wants that, right?!  The only system that needs your attention with Tranquil Liaison is the one that assists you in formulating a routine of a healthy, self-indulgent escape called “time-out” in a calm setting.  What a relief!

I have always been a lover of candles and beautifully fragranced products.  My experience when trying to simply locate quality candles and body products became tiring and often resulted in disappointment.   After four years of trials and refining my own hand-crafted creations, my focus is now on sharing these with other lovers of candles and luxury body products.  The inclusion of products for the more “masculine type” is also available following personal research indicating this to be an area that is somehow placed on the back burner (again, no pun intended!).  Tranquil Liaison focuses on an extensive range of fragrances with natural and sustainable products.  These are locally produced, are of supreme quality, and are affordable with no hidden B.S.  I encourage genuine feedback and reviews because I get to know you this way.  This communication encourages an awareness of your level of satisfaction, which is an integral element for those of you who are selective and fussy.  Tranquil Liaison fragrances are combined with natural components such as soy wax, nature’s oils and exotic butters as well as beautifully blended Fragrance Oils and Essential Oils. These ingredients are soothing and are a nontoxic alternative to similar products that are available in the current market.   Tranquil Liaison products enhance a powerful tool that you already possess – “Your Senses”. 

Introducing Tranquil Liaison “FireAroma” Firelighters:  This inspiration flowed on even further with an intense passion to produce an effective nontoxic product to help with lighting campfires and open fires in the cooler seasons.  The frustration that is experienced when lighting our campfire or open fire sent me off on yet another (successful) mission.  Gone are the toxic firelighters that depend on numerous efforts and waste of money before the smoke finally, if at all, subsides with an eventual glimmer of a flame.  I am proud to present “FireAroma” Soy Wax Firelighters.   Only one word expresses this firelighting experience – “WOW”!!  Producing an effective non-toxic firelighter that offers immediate ignition again involved long periods of trial and error, but it was worth it!  Add a cheeky fragrance to enhance the hassle-free experience when lighting your fire, even in the most challenging conditions!  I am totally confident that your frustration from past efforts will be replaced with a cosy and satisfied sigh.  What a unique gift for that person who is hard to buy for and they come beautifully packaged.   (I also offer a  peronalised gift card with your sentiments as per your instructions when ordering).
